This recipe kicks off the Cringey Kitchen holiday party! We wanted to create delicious, but simple recipes for our friends.
We are starting this party off with some Pear Filled Prosciutto Cups. Should it be square or should it be a rectangle? Those are the tough questions of prosciutto cups.
Cutting the prosciutto square ripped too easily, so we cut them into rectangles (about 3in x 4in). We lined the inside of each muffin cup with the prosciutto, then we wrapped the overhanging prosciutto to cover any tears. This will make sense when you do it…I hope.
These cups can be made in advance, so this dish is perfect for a party because you just need to fill them right before your guests arrive. Plus it’s not using up your oven because that’s always a struggle when hosting a party.

- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- ½ cup Balsamic Vinegar
- 1½ tsp Honey

You can rough chop your arugula, or just tear arugula into smaller pieces and add a couple pieces into each cup. Then, spoon pear mixture on top.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, reduce balsamic vinegar and honey until it thickens.
-
Once reduced, drizzle over each cup and serve!
