This furikake corn on the cob recipe is my favorite side dish to go with my burgers. It’s quick and easy, anyone can make it!
If you don’t want to bring a huge pot of water to a boil, you can break your corn in half before cooking. The cook time will be the same.
I like to sprinkle some salt on my corn to bring out the sweetness, but a little salt goes a long way so be careful. If you like a hint of spice, you can sprinkle on a few dashes of togarashi too.

Furikake Corn

Ingredients
- 2 corn remove husks
- 2 tsp Japanese mayo
- 2 tbsp furikake
- Salt to taste
- Togarashi optional
Instructions

Bring a pot of water to a boil. There should be just enough water to cover your corn. Once the water reaches a boil, turn the heat off and add the corn to the water. Leave the corn in the water for 5 – 7 minutes.

Remove the corn from the water and dry it off.

Brush the corn with the Japanese mayo and season with furikake, salt, and optional togarashi.
