Cornbread

Ingredients

  • cup Yellow Cornmeal
  • 1 cup Almond Flour
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Almond Milk
  • ¼ cup Applesauce room temperature
  • 2 tbsp Butter room temperature
  • ¼ cup Honey
  • 1 Egg
  • Cooking Spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Spray loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. In medium bowl, whisk together cornmeal, almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a separate small bowl, whisk together almond milk, applesauce, butter, honey, and an egg.
  5. Create a well in the dry ingredients and pour the wet ingredients in. Fold ingredients together until well combined.
  6. Pour mixture in loaf pan and bake for 25 minutes.
