Grilled Romaine Salad

Ingredients

Dressing

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tsps honey
  • Salt and pepper

2 romaine hearts

ΒΌ cup pecans, chopped

1 apple, cored and thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Heat up your grill to medium high.
  2. Whisk together dressing ingredients.
  3. Slice the romaine hearts in half lengthwise and brush the cut side with the dressing. Next place the cut side down on your hot grill. Grill for 3 minutes or until you get the nice grill lines.
  4. Place romaine on serving plate with cut side up. Add apples and pecans on top and drizzle with the remaining dressing.
