Tuna Tartare

Ingredients

  • ½ pound sashimi grade ahi tuna
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp tamari
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • ½ tsp sriracha
  • 1 green onion chopped
  • 2 tsp furikake
  • ½ avocado sliced or cubed

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine ginger, vinegar, tamari, sesame oil, and sriracha.
  2. Add tuna to the bowl and mix until well coated in the tamari mixture.
  3. Cover the bowl with saran wrap and place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
  4. After 20 minutes, remove the bowl from the refrigerator and add green onion and furikake. Toss until well mixed.
  5. Feel free to mix in cubed avocado right before serving or top the tuna with an avocado rose like us! Serve with chips or crackers.
