Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken wings or drumsticks
  • 1 tbsp shredded lemongrass we used frozen
  • 2 tbsp fresh thai basil sliced
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • Vegetable oil spray
  • Basil leaves
  • ¼ of a lemon

Instructions

  1. Pat dry your chicken and toss in a medium sized bowl with salt, pepper, lemongrass, and basil. Set aside and let marinate for 30 mins to an hour.

  2. Spray chicken with vegetable oil and place in a single layer in air fryer basket. Air fry for 15 mins at 400 degrees F.

  3. Transfer crisp chicken onto a plate lined with a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  4. Squeeze lemon juice over chicken.

  5. Toss a few basil leaves in your air fryer and fry for 3 mins at 370 degrees F. These make for a great garnish when you serve your wings.
