I was trying to avoid doing another smoothie with strawberries, but I got a whole pound for 99 cents! How can you turn that deal down? Chef K thinks I am the master of the deals, but it’s a lot of work. I am no extreme couponer…yet 😉
We have a lot of hemp seeds sitting in the pantry, so we used yet another smoothie as an excuse to use them up. They are such a great source of protein.
For this smoothie, we wanted it to be a thick, pudding-like consistency. There is no better way to achieve that than with an avocado. Chef K has to sneak something green into all our smoothies. Avocado I am okay with, the one time I had a whole romaine lettuce leaf in a cup was a different story.

Strawberry Avocado Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2 cup strawberries frozen
- 1 avocado
- ¼ cup hemp seed
- 1 ½ cup coconut milk
- ¼ cup honey
Instructions

Toss all ingredients into blender and blend until you get the consistency you want. All done!
