There’s a secret to these granola bars – we added a bit of green to them. And by green we mean broccoli, because we were too lazy to wash the knife between uses.
It could’ve been worse, we could’ve been cutting raw chicken previously…
That being said, we don’t recommend adding broccoli to these bars, but then again, maybe it would be a good twist.
As a note – don’t expect these delicious granola bites to hold together like some breakfast bars. These will crumble apart into delicious granola fragments.
You may want to take some time to compact them as much as you can so they stay whole enough to be wrapped up.

Cranberry Granola Bar
Ingredients
- 2 cups oats
- 1 cup walnut butter
- ½ cup walnuts chopped
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- ½ cup dried cranberries
Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a medium sized bowl. Stir well until well combined. Add a pinch of salt if needed.

Line 8” by 8” pan with parchment paper. Press the mixture into pan all the way to the edges.

Freeze for 45 minutes or until firm, then remove from pan and cut into rectangles. Wrap granola bars in wax paper and refrigerate until ready to eat.
